- La presente tesi analizza la scrittura collettiva e la collaborazione in letteratura negli ultimi due secoli, dall’Ottocento all’età contemporanea. Esamina un corpus di svariati romanzi e testi collettivi provenienti da diverse nazioni e scritti da più persone – da due a migliaia – e costruisce un percorso per studiare costanti e caratteristiche dovute al loro particolare mezzo di creazione e composizione: l’aspetto testuale, i generi ricorrenti, gli effetti sulla narrazione e sui personaggi, le relazioni con il mercato, le differenti e nuove funzioni autoriali.
- The dissertation investigates collaborative writing and collaboration in the literary field in the last two centuries. It starts from the assumption that collaborative novels and texts are not rare literary oddities but constitute a cohesive and still uncharted territory well worth exploring. The research then examines a wide group of collaborative novels and texts written by multiple people – range is from two to thousands – in different countries in order to determine how collaborative writing works in relation to literature: the kind of texts built, the recurring genres, the effects upon narrators and characters, the market relationship, the new and different authorial functions.
