- Taking inspiration from the studies of Michele Cometa and Roberta Coglitore on the rhetoric of literary photo-texts, the contribution attempts to examine the strategies of iconotextual rhetoric in some works of Sebald and Maron, underlining how the different strategies used respond to different interpretations of visual media and this media’s capacity to recall the past.
- Prendendo spunto dagli studi di Cometa e Coglitore sulla retorica dei fototesti letterari, il contributo prova a esaminare le strategie retoriche iconotestuali in alcune opere di Sebald e Maron evidenziando come le differenti strategie rispondano a una differente interpretazione dei media visuali e delle loro capacità di ricordare il passato.
