- All readers have experienced how much a book (by the word ‘book’ here we mean a story, a tale) is able to "grow" and make those who read it grow too. But in what sense are the stories "growing" and growing "within us"? And why do they generally fascinate us? In this essay it is assumed that stories are an indispensable nourishment for our brain and the overall health of our body.
- Tutti i lettori hanno sperimentato quanto un libro (e qui si parla di un libro che contenga una storia, intesa come racconto) sia in grado di “crescere” e far crescere chi lo legge. Ma in che senso le storie “crescono” e crescono dentro di noi? E perché, in genere, ci affascinano? In questo saggio si ipotizza che le storie siano un nutrimento indispensabile per il nostro cervello e il nostro corpo.
