- The Man in the High Castle is an uchrony, which is also a metaliteral novel on the power of literature, full of perspective games, anamorphoses and reflections about reality, in which Philip K. Dick, after the World War Two, imagines a world dominated by the power of the Axis. The novel is based on the counterfactual hypothesis “What would have happened if Hitler had won the war?”.
