- Volunteer on the Russian front and then partisan during the Second World War, Nuto Revelli devoted his whole life to recovering the life stories of history “defeated”: the survivor and MIA soldiers, the men and women from the countryside of Cuneo.But, in actual fact, who was Nuto Revelli? This paper tries to offer an answer to the question, through a brief excursus on the author’s biography and works, which were marked by an undeniable interdisciplinarity.
