Riassunto: In questo contributo, tratto dalla tesi di laurea di chi scrive, si presentano le ceramiche provenienti dal vano 144 del villaggio nuragico Su Nuraxi di Barumini (scavi Lilliu 1951-1956). Lo studio dei materiali fittili, unito all’analisi della documentazione di scavo, ha permesso all’autore di avanzare una serie di considerazioni in merito alla datazione dei contesti esaminati e alla funzione della capanna. Sulla base dei confronti con il materiale nuragico edito si propone una cronologia del vano circoscritta al Bronzo finale. Inoltre il particolare complesso ceramico, caratterizzato dalla relativa abbondanza di categorie vascolari legate al domino del fuoco e alla cottura dei cibi, induce a ritenere verosimile l’ipotesi che la funzione principale, ma non esclusiva, della capanna 144 fosse quella di vano cucina.Parole chiave: ceramica, Su Nuraxi, capanna 144, Bronzo finale, cucinaAbstract: This paper is a section of the university degree thesis ofthe writer and it is about the ceramics which come from the room 144 of the nuragic village Su Nuraxi in Barumini (archeological excavations by Lilliu 1951-1956). The study of the earthenware materials combined with the analysis of the excavation documents allowed the writer to propose a few observations in regard to the dating of the examined contexts and the function of the hut. A chronology of the room with specific attention to the Late Bronze Age II is proposed here thanks to the comparisons with the published nuragic materials. Moreover, the specific ceramic complex characterized by a concerning abundance of vascular categories linked to the fire control and food cooking persuades to hold to be true the hypothesis that the main function of the hut 144 was about being used a kitchen room, although this is not the only function.Keywords: ceramics, Su Nuraxi, hut 144, Late Bronze Age II, kitchenroom
