- The aim of this article is to demonstrate that the Moon’s all-male society portrayed in one of the first episodes of Lucian's Verae Hstoriae is humorously 'more real' than the originals that inspired it and author's social context. The lunar hyperreality satirically and parodically plays with traditional misogynist and pederastic motifs and with the imperial culture and society.
- Scopo dell'articolo è mostrare come la società senza donne immaginata da Luciano sulla Luna nelle Storie vere appaia per più di un verso 'più reale' dei modelli e della società in cui l'autore visse. L'iperrealtà lunare rivela così i propri intenti parodici e satirici nei confronti della tradizionale misoginia e pederastia greca e della società e cultura imperiali a cui Luciano appartiene.
