• L’histoire des sensibilités: un territoire-limite ? [The History of Sensibilities: A Borderline Territory?]
  • Deluermoz, Quentin
  • Mazurel, Hervé

Description

  • The history of sensibilities, emotions, the body are now in full renewal. Certainly, Lucien Febvre was already calling for this enrichment of the historian’s territory and the success of the history of mentalities in the seventies had already begun to occupy this promising field. It is now enriched by the contributions of the historiographical and reflexive turn of events, which has made it possible to take the actors seriously, to take an interest in their experiences, their testimonies and their perceptions. From this completely new perspective, it is a vast field of investigation that opens up to historical writing, following in the footsteps among others of Norbert Elias and Alain Corbin.
